Description
After the conflict in former Yugoslavia in the 1990s and decades of war, today Serbia hosts a total of nearly 100,000 refugees from Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, and other countries. Many of these rrefugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) live in collective centers on less than $5/day per family, with limited access to the resources needed for a decent life.
Quilts, School Kits, Personal Care Kits, and Baby Care Kits will be distributed to vulnerable Serbian groups, including impoverished households, pregnant women, and primary school children. These donations will help these folks create a better living environment for their families and give them some resources to improve their health care.
