Chad is currently hosting refugees from countries including Sudan and the Central African Republic, and the refugee camps have been hit by heavy rainfall and flooding. Lutheran World Federation (LWF) works with these refugees, as well as returned internally displaced persons and host communities, to help them live with dignity.
Quilts, Baby Care Kits and School Kits will be distributed in refugee camps all over Chad, with a particular focus on the most vulnerable populations such as children and the elderly.

MANTADE Suzane, is a 61-year-old woman living in Bélom camp South of Chad . As a result of the political-military crisis that has affected the Central African Republic she became a refugee.She said that considering her age, she cannot do much work to be able to meet all her needs. Mantade is happy she received the gifts of 2 blankets and soap.
