Sierra Leone is struggling to reconstruct after emerging from a decade of bloody civil war in 2002. Despite substantial economic growth recently, poverty and unemployment remain high, and the country is near the bottom of the UN's measures for human development.
Quilts and Kits will be distributed to returning refugees and internally displaced persons in impoverished and devastated communities in rural Sierra Leone. These donations will give recipients a chance to resettle with dignity and hope.
